Do you want to learn what it takes to make a difference at the ends of the earth? Do you want to learn how to show the hope of Jesus Christ among those who have never met a follower of Jesus Christ in their whole lives?
Innov-Asia 2019 will explore these questions and so much more. The process begins with two weeks in Thailand. Then each apprentice travels to a field site in the Asia Pacific Region for a month. Finally, all the participants return to Thailand to share their learning with the other apprentices.

We are looking for those individuals willing to explore work at the ends of the earth—whether in the city or the rural villages, among Secularists, Buddhists, Muslims, or Hindus, and/or with youth or the elderly. God may use this to take your faith deeper as a sender, or He might use this to help you discern a call to serve cross-culturally. As a Lab, Innov-Asia is designed to equip you as an apprentice to become more effective in today's changing world.
Innov-Asia: An Innovation Lab
Don't just study, learn. Don't just go, make a difference!
Innov-Asia is an innovation lab, an intense, interactive, hands-on experience taking a fresh look at the pioneering efforts among unreached peoples and your role in those efforts. We are looking for individuals with curious minds and adventurous spirits. We are inviting you to join our Innovation Lab for the summer of 2019. The Lab consists of three segments and three core focal points:
Segments:
Two Weeks in Chiang Mai, Thailand—learning “laboratory” skills for Asia
Four Weeks with a team in Asia—fieldwork, applying those laboratory skills
Three Days back in Chiang Mai—reporting and debriefing your experience

Mapping Your Walk—developing a robust faith that sustains you for the long run
Mapping A New Culture—developing eyes and ears to read a new culture
Mapping Ministry at the Edge—developing resources and a framework for ministry among unreached peoples and communities

Where will you go in Asia?
After Chiang Mai, the second largest city in Thailand and is rich with a diversity of cultures, you will have the opportunity to visit a second city and engage a Muslim, Hindu, Secular, or Buddhist community. Your mission coach will work with you and the Innov-Asia team to clarify the details of each possible setting. We have four locations lined up for 2019 each with its own project:
a team with mobile medical clinics
a business setting rooted in the local community
a business engaging trekkers
a community center in a regional city
What Do You Need To Do Next?
First, pray. This will be a significant commitment of your time, faith, and monies. You will be challenged and stretched. Pray and ask God if this is from him for you.
Second, talk to a missions coach. Your missions coach will help you determine if Innov-Asia is the right fit for you, and will guide you through the application process. Submit an inquiry at TEAM.org right away and a coach near you will get in touch. Space is limited. Apply ASAP--Like This Weekend! The estimated cost is $4500 inclusive of round-trip airfares from the United States.
Third, pack your things! You will have a logistics coordinator to help you prepare what to pack in your suitcase—and what to prepare in your heart and mind. More details to follow with the application!
